Agreement

These terms apply to all services provided by Amazo Publishers. By commissioning work you accept them. Each project is additionally governed by a written scope of work that sets out deliverables, milestones, dates and fees. Where the scope and these terms conflict, the scope prevails.

Scope and revisions

Revisions are unlimited within the agreed scope. Work that materially changes the brief — a new direction, a substantially different manuscript, or added deliverables — is quoted separately before it begins.

Intellectual property

All rights in the finished work transfer to you on final payment. Amazo Publishers claims no ongoing interest in your manuscript, your royalties or your retailer accounts. We will request permission before naming you or your book in any portfolio or case study.

Confidentiality

Your manuscript, your identity as a client, and the fact of our engagement are confidential. Ghostwriting engagements are anonymous by default: our writers assert no authorship and are bound by written non-disclosure agreements.

Payment

Projects are invoiced against milestones set out in the scope. Work on a milestone begins once the preceding invoice is settled. All fees are quoted in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee sales figures, bestseller rankings, review counts or revenue. No publishing service honestly can. Our liability in any matter is limited to the fees paid for the service concerned.
