What this is
Sequential art has its own grammar: what a panel shows, what the gutter between two panels asks the reader to supply, where the eye lands on a page turn. Getting that wrong produces a book that is confusing to read even when every drawing in it is good. We script to the panel, thumbnail the whole book before a single page is finished, and letter as part of the artwork rather than pasting it on afterwards.
What’s included
- Full script to industry format — panel descriptions, dialogue and captions
- Thumbnail pass across the whole book before finished art begins
- Pencils, inks and flat or rendered colour
- Lettering, balloon placement and sound effects treated as artwork
- Page-turn planning so reveals land on the recto
- Print-ready files with bleed, trim and spine width for your page count
How it runs
01Script
Written to the panel, so the artist knows what each frame carries.
02Thumbnails
The whole book roughed small, where pacing problems are cheap to fix.
03Art
Pencils and inks page by page, with colour once the sequence is locked.
04Letter and assemble
Balloons placed, pages assembled and exported to the printer’s spec.
Why it matters
The story happens in the gutter between panels. That is the part worth getting right.
Ready when you are
One conversation is usually enough to tell you whether this is the right next step.
